Hi Everyone, We've officially made it to April! Spring is definitely here, at least where I am. It was 70 degrees on Saturday and then back down to 40 degrees yesterday. Saturday night, the crazy winds blew my garbage and recycling bins clear across the yard. ibmjas, I'm envious that you got your yard work done. Our lawn needs to be mowed, and the weeds in my front flower beds are so thick I'm going to need a large shovel to remove them. I would have worked on that this weekend, but it was raining. But honestly, I'm not feeling particularly inspired to get out there this year. I kind of wish I had the money for a landscaper. I'd love to wake up and find it all magically done! DrvrTrnr, Congratulations on your upcoming grandchild! That's exciting news. tycho657, I hope you got your roof and RV fixed up so you can hit the road again soon. Oh, and have any of you ever been to Charleston, SC? We'll be headed there on a family vacation soon, and we're trying to plan the sites we'd like to see, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know. Okay, now it's your turn. Check-in and let us know how your week is going.

Spring is coming here finally. We will have 90 by the weekend. My RV guy taped my window in until I can get a new one. It was a double pane window. The outside one shattered into a 1000 pieces when it was just touched. The paint will have to be touched up. Glad I have a good RV guy who knows people. My roof was not damaged at all. You can’t even tell it was hit. I have stone/concrete blocks on the roof. Charleston I remember going to see The Hunley at the museum. Clive Cussler used his book money to find real ship wrecks. This was a submarine that was sunk during the civil war. It should be much more restored than when we saw it. Friends of the Hunley 1250 Supply St North Charleston,SC I am planting 2 Firecracker plants. I am hoping they will do well. I want to plant another ocotillo in the back yard. I got 5 aloe plants last year on clearance for 99c last fall. They are all doing well. I need to plant my garden today also. I have a raised garden box on my patio on wheels so I can move it in and out of the sun.

Apparently, our weather in Winchester will allow yard work through the rest of week until late Friday. Guess I better get my boots and gloves ready. I have reviewed again the pictures of poison ivy...hopefully I will avoid any that is out there. There are several steeper areas where I been reminded that are 'off limits' since I manage to trip over things and fall. Honestly...accidentally!

Spring is on the way. The ice was off our pond as of Apr. 5. We have already had a Buffalohead and Kingfisher visit on their way to their summer grounds. With warm weather on tap next week, the sturgeon should be spawning and that is always fun to see!! We had the twins for a couple days last week and watched Avatar, the Way of Water. Very good but 3 hours long. We are glad we watched at home, LOL.
