I don't know if anyone else has caught this but actress Krista Allen has a new sitcom on the CW. Yes, I know her supposed relationship to Nathan but I've been a fan of Krista's since she took over the role of Billie Reed many years ago on Days of Our Lives.
The basic premise of Significant Mother is that Lydia (Krista Allen) is newly single as her husband was cheating on her and she suddenly finds herself in a relationship with her grown son's best friend.
I'll admit that premise made me roll my eyes when I first heard it and it's probably not for everyone but I found it more charming than I expected mostly because of Krista's portrayal of Lydia. Jimmy, the roommate is also pretty darn cute.
Anyway, the second episode airs on the CW tonight (the first can be seen for free at cwtv.com) if you want to check it out and I'll be reviewing it for TVFanatic.com
