Thank you all for the birthday wishes. I'm sorry I haven't responded sooner. The night before my birthday, my Mom made me a prime rib dinner, which was wonderful. On my actual birthday, we spent half the day at the Children's Hospital in NYC, but at least we got good news. My daughter passed her stress test with flying colors. The specialists are hopeful that her odd heartbeat will go away as she grows, and they see no risk in her doing normal activities going forward. But she'll have to do the portable heart monitor every six months or so to keep an eye on things. Still, it was probably the best news we could have hoped for. The day kind of took a turn from there when my car battery died, and we had to wait to get a jump start. It wasn't the end of the world, but definitely made for a longer day when we were already tired. But thank you once again for remembering me on my birthday. Maybe next year I'll spend it on a tropical beach and Nathan Fillion can stay home.  |
