Season 7 started with that poster of Kate in her wedding dress, facing away and then a head shot of Castle. In my opinion it was very dark and kind of depressing, especially for Castle. Thankfully we got a second poster, which is the header here at PFJ.
I'm thinking this new poster came about for two reasons. First, the actors weren't available for a new photo shoot and second, they may not have wanted to give away too much info about season 8. Perhaps we'll get another poster once season 8 begins...

Hi everyone! My first question about the poster would be is Castle the only ABC show that is getting this treatment as in old photos being used for a poster? If so, could that mean ABC has some financial issues? If not, then given the way that ABC has always seemed to promote Castle, can we really be surprised? Curious as to what that other poster looked liked. Despite what treatment was given to the picture, and 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' those are two gorgeous looking people! as far as I am concerned. I love the way the color of their eyes can be clearly seen. To me it conjures up the end of Cuffed when they are back in the precinct and Kate tells Rick that next time they will do it without the tiger. Rick has that smirk like the cat that got the cream look and Kate has a mischievous smile knowing that Rick is on the same page as her. It would be cool if there was an unexpected photo shoot which is new and which definitely has Nathan and Stana in the same space at the same time, but I won't be holding my breath. Just hoping that S8 gives us back the characters that we love. B.x  |

The fandom gets it knickers twisted over some really silly things.
I just hope that with Stana now a producer, things will get better.
