The Rookie is moving!

ABC just announced that The Rookie is moving from Sundays to Tuesdays.

Beginning in January, The Rookie will air Tuesday night at 8/7c, followed by The Rookie: Feds.

I can 't help but think this move is to help the Fed show. The writers can do more two-part episodes that start on Nathan's show and end on the Feds show. Luckily the Rookie can get established on it's new night before the next season of The Voice starts in the spring. That will be Blake Shelton's last time to be a coach and I think a lot of people will tune in to see that because he's been on since the first season.

And it got some of its best ratings! That's pretty great for a show in its fifth season.
