Hi All, We're actually in October! This year has flown by so fast, and now I'm looking in my closet for my winter jacket. We're not quite there yet, but as it was only 48 degrees this morning, we're close. I had planned to get caught up on my yard work this weekend, but mother nature had other plans. It rained all weekend. Not a hard rain, but just enough to cancel my plans to work outside. It's my daughter's 13th birthday this week, and I can't get over how fast 13 years has gone by...or that I'm now the mother of a teenager! So, let us know how your week is going.

Nice high 70’s this morning. I so wanted to sit outside with my morning espresso but the mosquitoes and no see-ums are out. I need to put out my mosquito canister that will keep them away before I try it. I need to get in a nice kayak trip down the Salt River before they cut the flow for the winter. There is a new baby wild horse that was born in the last month. I would love to get a look at it. Packing the RV for the camping season that starts on Saturday. I’m hoping the rain and cold stays away as we will be camping at higher elevation next week. Wow a teenager where did time go??

Today was painting day. We have a slump block house so we chose a light gray for the ramada that goes nicely with the house. They finished around 12:30 and said it would be dry in 3 hours. Of course we had a storm come through around 4 with dust, rain and high winds. It doesn't look like the storm did any damage to the new paint. We're just glad all the work has been completed. Now we're waiting for the rest of the insurance money so we can pay off the balance.

DvrTrnr glad that storm didn’t ruin your paint. Those were strong winds. It came from the North which was strange. I was just getting ready to jump in the pool when that hit. Just heard on the morning news snow bowl got its 1st snow of the year. Also Williams had a tornado go thru. It was just a "1" but still did lots of damage. Saw many big trees near me go down.

I was on a cruise out of NY last week to Canada only we could encounter the remains of Fiona going up and the remains of Ian coming back. To say we were rocking and rollin is an understatement....

Wow...you certainly have 'surprising' talent for holiday scheduling! Hopefully, you had a lot of fun regardless of the weather.

marschg, Wow, that must have been quite a cruise. My husband and my honeymoon was a cruise to Bermuda. It was wonderful, but on our first day out at sea, we were skirting a storm and had 30-foot seas. That was kind of wild. I hope you were still able to enjoy your trip despite the "high seas." And if you don't mind me asking, which cruise company did you take?
