Boy have things changed. I use to wait for the fall TV guide to come out so I could choose what new shows to watch. I don't think they even do that anymore, but I really haven't looked. Emmys were last week and I didn't even watch. I don't subscribe to paid eves channels so I didn't even know the shows that won except Abott Elementary as it's on network TV. I can't say I am looking forward to the Rookie spin off. The lady in the lead was just annoying. I hope I am wrong. Boy am I feeling old and or if touch...

I think the Emmys should have awards for network shows and then non-network shows because they are held to different standards. Network has language, content, and time constraints that non-network (both cable and streaming) don't have, so it becomes an unlevel playing field which doesn't seem fair to me.

Just a heads up...
Tonight (Monday), NCIS, NCIS: Hawai'i, 9-1-1, and The Cleaning Lady return, and the new Quantum Leap premieres.

Many years ago cable used to have their own awards show. It was a time before cable really took off. I think they joined the network Emmys to save money. Then all of a sudden cable expanded and really took off. Every year more awards went to their shows leaving the networks trying to figure out how to compete. It's an impossible task due to all the restrictions imposed on the networks. Even the Oscars have had to recognize the streaming services movies.

I hope Quantum Leap gets better. I was not impressed with the Pilot.

For anyone watching the new CBS shows East New York, So Help Me Todd, or Fire Country, all three have just been given full-season orders.

Rookie feds is better than the pilot episode that aired on The Rookie. I have to say it is not on my must watch but when I have caught up on other shows I do watch it.

We just started catching up on The Rookie: Feds. As you say, it's not must-see, but it is entertaining, and we're enjoying it.

I got caught up on the Rookie Feds. The pilot was better the 2nd time around once I got to know the characters better. Waiting to watch it the next day without commercials makes it more enjoyable. It's better than I thought it would be.

Don't like Rookie Feds. It's hilarious that the female coworker has her shirt buttoned up to her neck and wears a vest and a blazer while Niecy basically has the girls hanging out. My husband and I already bailed on So Help me Todd after 1 1/2 eps. We're still into Fire Country, East New York, and Quantum Leap, but there aren't any shows that we're really excited about. There is normally at least one. Anyone else have one that they are really excited about?
