Hi All, Sorry this is late. It's been a busy day. We went back down the shore this weekend. It was a beautiful day, even though we were only allowed into the water up to our knees. There are storms in the Atlantic producing strong rip currents. Because of it, there were three or four lifeguards at every post, where there are normally two. But the beach was gorgeous, so Mom, Kate, and I had a lovely day. Next Saturday, we have plans, but I'm hoping the weather holds out so we can go down on the last Saturday of the month. (That's the last weekend they have lifeguards.) On the homefront, I got the lawn mowed, and some weeds pulled but not nearly enough. And it's going to rain most days this week, so the weeds will grow like crazy. Ugh. So how is your week going so far? Check-in and let us know.

I'm trying to get motivated to get things planned for my RV season. I am hosting the first camp out. The 2nd one is a regional FMCA Rally in Tucson that I might be able to skip. I'm only going because I am the conductor for the Frustrated Maestro 's Well if we only have 5 or 6 people we will cancel. I hope we cancel. We had remnants of the hurricane blow thru last night with rain, thunder, lightning, and strong winds. I was a wimp this morning and skipped my morning swim as the water is now below 85.

I'll start with the crappy thing first. Our internet went out some time Sunday afternoon. We weren't home so I don't know exactly when. I reported the outage that night and it was supposed to be restored by 9 pm the next day. Of course it wasn't, so I called that day and was given the 9 pm time again. Today at 10 pm I chatted with them and now they're sending a technician, but not until Monday!! We're so disgusted. At least our daughter showed me how to turn my cell into a hotspot so I could use the computer.
We have finally been scheduled for the demo and removal of our ramada. That also begins on Monday. The rebuild will be the following Monday. With all the storms we've had lately, we're glad no more wood and nails have been blown into the pool.
I almost forgot about our fridge. The LED fixture was blinking like a strobe light (in the freezer, too). Luckily that was an easy repair. The guy took it out, let it get warmed up a bit and it reset itself. No more blinking. Hopefully the rest of the week will be more normal.

tycho657 -85 degrees! Wow, ocean water last weekend was only about 75 and it still felt pretty warm. DrvrTrnr - I hope your internet is up and running soon. And good luck with your demo. I’m waiting to find out when our contractor will be back to finish our work. At least your fridge light was easy!

This is so true that it's a little scary. I will say that I've had good luck with the post office but the others are pretty spot on.

I braved the 85 degree water and swam this morning. 😎 An 85 degree water temperature probably sounds pretty warm to most of you. I look at it this way--It's 13 degrees colder than the average body temperature which makes it a little shocking to the system when getting in the pool. I'm a member of Teresa's wimp club, lol.

I grew up swimming in Puget Sound which is 50 year round. You would jump in and if you could make it for a couple of minutes you kind of go numb. When you start feeling warm it's time to get out because you are getting hypothermia..lol My husbNd would not get in the pool until it was at least 92.
