Wow! I can't believe this. I'm not even a huge fan, but after that season finale, this is definitely a blow to fans as the show heads into its final season.

I'm totally blown away by this news! What a loss. She and Ryan Eggold had such great chemistry. I sure hope they handle the story of her absence well and not with some lame reason for it. I was so hoping the series would end in a satisfying manner since they've known for so long that this was the final season. This sure causes some doubt fr that!

This is really not a surprise. When Max moved to England with her I felt the series was over. All that he had built and fought to change was all gone. Don't know what this final season will be but it won't be on the top of my viewing list.

Doesn't it remind you of when they separated Castle and Beckett? Separate the leads = death of series!

Great article. Glad it was not just me. They must have fired the show runner, fired all the writers and just gave up on this show, I totally agree with the thoughts in this article. Too bad as it was a good show until this year.

I was thinking about watching this series, but after reading the comments, I'm not so sure. It sounds like I'd be disappointed after getting into it.

Yeah, it started off really strong, but this last season was not fun, and the couple everyone has rooted for is basically done since the lead actress won't return for this final upcoming season. It reminds me a little of the debacle that was Castle season 8.
