I hope you were all able to honor a Veteran today. I alway try and find a place that wants to honor our Veterans to sound taps for them. This morning I went to Chandler to a senior living facility that had a nice program to honor their Veterans.I also sounded taps at 3:00 at my house. Taps across America has been doing this for a few years now. They ask people who can to play taps at 3pm local time. I put it up on my nextdoor app so the neighbors can walk outside and hear it if they want. There was another neighbor about a mile away who was also going to play.

Sorry I kind of disappeared for a few days. We ended up at the hospital. My husband had such intense pain in his side that I had to go pick him up from work. (I've known him since we were 18 and that's NEVER happened before.) We spent an entire night in the ER and he was eventually diagnosed with kidney stones which are incredibly painful, but thankfully generally not life-threatening.
We're back home now. He's on medication but still in pain. Hopefully, the stones pass soon.
Hope you're all having a good week! Please check in and let us know.

That pain is not for whimps for sure. I hope it passes soon. I now drink extra water and lots of my fresh lemonade from my tree to help keep them away. I never want to do that again.

Sorry for your hubby's pain, Christine, but happy it wasn't something major life threatening. Hope they pass soon!! LOL, but having my own set of pain this week. I had my teeth cleaned a week ago and the next day a tooth broke. I now need a crown. It's a kick in the shorts without dental insurance. It's $1350 plus consultation fee for today and whatever else they throw in. I'm curious. What have any of you had to pay if you do not mind me asking??? My last crown was $1000 about 3-4 years ago. Otherwise, life is good. We celebrated SIL's Mom's bday yesterday and went to little Pete's baseball game. Tuesday, we went to lunch with Daughter. Tomorrow, we are going to see Top Gun. LOL, we already have our tickets to see Jurassic Park next Friday. We are big fans and have seen all of them. This weekend, I plan to clean my garage and dop a little car stuff. Happy week to all
