I quit watching Ordinary Joe after a few episodes; however, I loved The Big Leap. At least they wrapped the story up pretty well although they threw in a little twist for a season 2.

New Amsterdam really lost me this year with Max dropping everything he has built to go to London. I still have some episodes to watch when everything else has been watched, not in a hurry. I'm surprised they even got another season

I have mixed feelings about New Amsterdam. I've watched since day 1 and have loved the show and it's characters. However, this new story line about Max and Helen moving to London and then Max being torn about going back, has dragged on way too long for my taste. If they can recapture the sense of a committed team bucking the system pretty quickly, I'll enjoy the show a lot more. I think one more season will be a great opportunity to wrap it up appropriately and I sure hope they do. It's been a great ride overall.

The Upfronts are next week, so I figured we'd get lots of news this week about renewals and cancellations, but this feels brutal. CBS has canceled B Positive, How We Roll, and Magnum P.I.The CW canceled 4400, Charmed, Dynasty, In the Dark, Legacies, Naomi, and Roswell New Mexico. NBC has canceled Endgame, Kenan, The Mayor. (Magnum PI's cancellation really hurts. I loved that show. ) |

I thought I read Magnum was renewed now they say canceled? Their ratings were good. Must have been behind the seens issues? Too bad.

It's been hanging in the balance for half of this season. And the only behind-the-scenes drama has to do with licensing fees. I really enjoyed Magnum,PI and didn't expect it to get canned. I also liked In the Dark although some of the episodes were getting ridiculous.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH. That is our opinion of Magnum being cancelled. It was my favorite show and Rikki liked it too  We also enjoyed B Positive. It was a fun show. |

I just saw the Magnum series finale on my DVR. I was concerned that they wouldn't know they were being cancelled and would leave us with a cliff hanger. That didn't happen and I think they ended it OK. Just sorry to see it go.

It's a long shot, but sometimes that works, so I've got my fingers crossed. |
