Today in 2009 the first episode of Castle aired. This show was unlike any other. It brought together people from all over the world. I still have contact with people from Finland, England, Italy, Estonia, and Australia. Also a great group from all over the USA.

I could be wrong, but I thought the first episode of Castle aired on March 9, 2009. I remember because I was pregnant at the time. (Actually, what I remember most is morning sickness...but Castle is one of the better memories from that time.)

Whenever it started, it certainly was the start of something unique and wonderful. Those first 6 seasons were just a magical experience. I've always been amazed that so many people from all over the world became so invested in a TV show.

All episodes from the entire eight seasons are permanently established in my laptop...even the ending seasons even though the only episode ever viewed again has been 'Hollander Woods'.

The people I've met through Castle are and have been wonderful to know. I remember seeing previews for the show and telling Mrs. G, "Hey, that's the girl from the Librarian! Let's check out Castle!" So glad we did.
We had the first episode recorded for a long time and I remember my brother-in-law coming up to visit in 2010 and we watched it with him. He didn't care for the Librarian, but he really liked Castle! Hmmm, I guess good taste runs in the family, Mrs. G married me and he liked Castle!
13 years!! Good grief, how time flies.
