Hi Everyone,
I'll skip the "I can't believe it's November 1st," (even though it's true!) and move on to hoping that you all had a nice Halloween weekend. My daughter went trick-or-treating with friends in a different neighborhood and said she's sticking closer to home next year as our neighborhood has more houses that are decorated and give out a lot more candy.
I've got a contractor coming over later this afternoon to go over plans for our upcoming renovations. Fingers crossed that all goes well and there are no surprises.
So what's your week look like? Check in and let us know.

It was interesting to watch kids come up to my door and ring the doorbell. I have a ring doorbell camera so I could see them come up. There were only about 10 kids. I returned from my Halloween camping trip just in time for my espresso machine to be delivered by the UPS guy a day early. I was excited to get it back so I can use it again. Unfortunately the plastic water reserve was returned with a giant crack in the side so I can't use it. When I called the repair place in Seattle the message was that they were taking the week off. So another weekend or more without the machine I will be home for a week then off again in the RV. I just heard about a trip I have wanted to do in the RV on my last campout. It goes all over Eastern Canada and the islands up that way. It is a 67 day trip. I really would like to do that but I told myself I would not drive to the east coast again. I will do some more thinking on that trip.

We too hope all had a nice Halloween. The twins went with friends this year for the first time. I'm sure they had a great time We stopped in to see their costumes and give each a bag of their favorite candies. It was nice to see them and do that. They will be coming for an overnight stay this coming weekend. Looking forward to that! My SIL's nephew was a unanimous All Conference selection as an interior lineman in Football this Fall. He is 6 ft. 3 in. tall and 255 pounds as a Junior and still growing. There is no fat on the kid. LOL, he is a man child. He gets great grades and is also one of the best shot putters in Wisconsin. Good news today. Rikki saw her knee doctor. All is well and he is very pleased with her progress. He said he would see her next August. She also had her annual physical recently and all is good with her health. She gets a couple of months off now before she has to have cancer screening again. She is happy for the respite. My annual checkup and cancer screening is Nov. 10. Hope all of you have a good week
