The Rookie Season 4 Episode 4 "Red Hot" Discussion thread

My family ended up stumbling upon Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, and didn't turn it off to watch The Rookie. We'll likely watch this new episode tonight, but I figured I'd start the discussion thread for those of you who have already seen the episode.

I actually had streaming wifi at the fairgrounds where I am camped for the week so I was able to watch the episode on my iPad instead of my phone.   
I enjoyed the contest with Nolan and his new girlfriend. They both had surprises that were revealed. You would think Nolan would know better than go alone to look at his patrol car. You just knew something was going to happen. 
it will be interesting to see how the race for union rep goes. Smithy has done nothing for years for them. He must get a pay bump for doing nothing so he will not be happy. 
It’s nice to see Grey getting out of the station. 
Iam liking the new Rookie better each episode.

I enjoyed this episode too. My husband says this may be his favorite season so far.
Nolan and Bailey’s competition was fun and they’re growing on me as a couple.
I like Harper training Thorsen, especially how she explained why he shouldn’t use his personal phone to take photos on the job.
As for the campaign, Nolan is the right person to go up against Smitty. I loved it when Harper pointed out that if she were to campaign she’d have to be nice to people.

We, too, are enjoying this season a lot. Just cannot understand his taking "stupid" pills but the rest is just plain fun TV.
