My pool is finally warm enough to swim 😎🎶🎵😎 It’s still too cold for my morning swim. I’m getting things planned for my big RV trip North next month.I will heading to the mountains for a few days later this month. No fires as the forests are too dry. I just hope people are smart and don’t start fires up there.
Tomorrow is a river clean up. The crazy people who came out last weekend left lots of trash. I will go up and help clean up. It seems to get worse every year.

Just a busy week. We had to get all of our errands done on Monday because we knew we had to take our car in for service on Tuesday. They still have the car now (late Wednesday) and they still aren’t sure what the problem is. The spark plugs and ignition coils have been replaced. There was a computerized update on the transmission. We did an oil change and a new air filter in the last month. But it seems to be losing coolant. It’s not dripping out the bottom so the fear is that it is leaking into the engine block. Sometimes the car is just fine but other times it starts really rough and has white smoke coming out of the tail pipe. Once or twice it’s felt like it would stall out, but of course none of that happens when it’s with the mechanic. They’re supposed to call us back this evening but I’m not convinced they’ll have any answers. The only upside is that it’s still under warranty and all of this will be documented if it does need a major repair in the coming weeks or months. tycho657, we have that problem here, too. People come to enjoy the river but then leave their trash behind. It’s really annoying. But at least there's little chance of fire in our area. Things tend to be hot and humid throughout the spring and summer and we've had plenty of rain so far. I can’t believe it’s June already! Where did May go? Hope everyone else's week is going well. I went to a golf tournament yesterday. They had a Wizard of Oz theme. It was fabulous! Workers were dressed in great costumes representing Dorothy (with Toto of course), Scarecrow, Tin man, The Good Witch, The lion, and the pro was the wizard. The tee markers were sparkling ruby slippers and there were props scattered around. I was amazed at what they were able to do. I found out later that the local high school had done the Wizard of Oz so they donated all the costumes and props. My partner and I played great and took 1st net. It was really a fun day!
