I was able to get enough wifi this morning to watch this episode. I need to check and see if Chuck Bowman directed that episode as it has so much going on in the 42 min episode. Sarah & John reminded me of my husband and I. He always had a black cloud over things and I always tried to find the sun. Life is hard but you have to find the sun and look forward was my philosophy 😍 I hope Henry realize that he needs to find a new partner. She was ready to bail when she thought she would have to care for Henry. That is not a person you want to marry. Westley was amazing standing up to the drug goons. I think they will be facing some crazy things in the future. Angela did save the Mom but that woman will be bringing a war to the LA drug gang after they killed her son. It was nice to see the homeless girl replace the baby Yoda. Lucy has done well with her.Lucy & Nolan both see the sunny side. I can see why they were together.

I didn't blame Abigail for freaking out a bit over Henry's heart condition and what it could mean. She's young, and he never gave her any indication this was serious or that he'd have to deal with this in his future. As Sarah pointed out, that wasn't fair of him. Like John, I think Henry always looks at the bright side, and because he's young, that can translate into ignoring some possible harsh realities.
I think Abigail likely just needs time to process this and what it could mean for their future.

I sure hope this show gets another season. The episodes just get better as the year goes on. We totally agree with John and Henry about the surgery. If he got the lesser surgery, who's to say that he would not have a major heart attack when the problem reoccurred. Also, Henry is young, do major surgery now. Being successful, he now has a chance at a full, long life. Lastly, Henry is old enough to make the decision for himself. That has to be respected Wesley and Angela should be very careful. La Fiera may blame her for her son's death. If she had not stopped them, they may have been able to leave safely. Wesley showed a lot of courage but these people are animals with no regard for human life. It was really nice that the Sergeant and John's partner came to give him support.

I don't disagree that Henry should likely have the full procedure in the near future; I just don't like having major surgery, and heart surgery no less, on the fly with doctors you don't know and haven't researched. You could get lucky, but you might not.
If it were me, I'd do the less invasive procedure, then research the major surgery, which specialist do it, what their fatality and complication rates are, the best hospitals in which to have it, etc., and then schedule the more serious surgery.
Of course, I've learned that I tend to do a lot more research about medical procedures than most people. You should have seen the list of questions I had for my orthopedic surgeon for my hip surgery, or the lists of surgeons that I whittled down. I can only imagine how thorough I'd be if it were my kid having cardiac surgery!

Henry should've told Abigail about his heart condition and here's why. Our youngest daughter's boyfriend was born with a heart defect. He had surgery as a newborn and was given the Last Rights at the hospital. Fast forward to age 9 and he got a pacemaker. He's now 30 and made our daughter aware of his heart condition several years ago when they started dating. She could've cut and run at that point. Full disclosure makes their relationship better because she knows what signs to look for to possibly avoid an emergency situation.
Nolan and Sarah absolutely made the right decision. They honored their son's wishes and he got the best result possible. Angela and Wesley definitely need to be aware of their surroundings at all times now. That drug gang means business.
