It looks like Tamala has a new series. She is in a small role but I think maybe she is a series regular. I will watch this show as it looks interesting.

This looks a bit like The Equalizer in that it's got that mix of action and humor and a lot of character. I'll definitely be checking it out and am so glad to see Tamala again!

I love Katey Sagal and she seems perfect for this role. And it will be good to see Tamala back on TV again. She had a small, recurring role on 9-1-1: Lone Star last year but that storyline is over so I don't believe she's coming back.

I really enjoyed the pilot. Nice ensemble cast with such diversity. This looks to be fun. Tamala has a nice role and will get some air time.
Did anyone else watch the pilot? What did you think?

I watched the pilot last night and enjoyed it too. I was pleased that Tamala's role is actually pretty significant. She plays a smart and sassy character, which I think is right up her alley. I was a bit surprised that the format wasn't a typical case of the week. It looks like the heart valve story line will be an extended one and that's actually kind of refreshing. It'll give them a chance to do more in depth story telling. I hope to continue watching.

I'm thoroughly enjoying this show, especially the ongoing storyline. It's nice for a change to have something to look forward to for more than one episode. Tamala has a good character, something she can sink her teeth into. I hope ABC gives this show a chance to find an audience. They don't have a very good track record in that area. |
