Foyle's War was amazingly good. Thanks, Larry We watched all of it on Acorn. Acorn can be quirky but carries many BBC series. All the series we have watched have been excellent. We are currently watching 800 Words and have about 14 episodes left. We also enjoyed Big Sky. We enjoy The Mallorca Files on PBS. We enjoy FBI, MacGyver, Magnum PI, The Rookie, and some of the comedy shows. Hallmark Mysteries are fun too.

I have spent most of the year watching all 13 seasons of Heartland on Netflix. It became an old friend that was always there. I understand season 14 will probably be available on Netflix next year, hopefully 1st quarter. I will really miss it until then.

Currently watching the CSI: Vegas series.
I will admit the only reason I wanted to watch it in the first place is because it brings back the characters of Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom. ^-^
My first true OTP. Caskett came after GSR for me.

tefla, I haven't started the new CSI: Vegas yet. I watched the entire original series. What do you think of the new one?

tefla , I haven't started the new CSI: Vegas yet. I watched the entire original series. What do you think of the new one? As the show is still just two episodes in - I can say that I am currently enjoying it. The new team has it's quirks and it's different not seeing say other lab techs from the original but so far - I'd say I'm okay with it. The new team has its own little quirks and chemistry - and having the added benefit of Grissom & Sara back is, to my shipper's heart, a great thing. I've caught moments that bring me back to the original series - like last night's episode had a scene where music from an episode in season 4 of the original CSI seemed to be recycled (but altered just a little bit) that made me sit up and go "I know this music" All in all - unless something happens drastically - I think I'll keep watching. (( TBH - I never completely finished the original CSI series as I felt TPTB screwed over GSR shippers ))

I know there are quite a few Heartland fans on here. I just saw that season 14 would be on Netflix April 1.
I thought I read somewhere that season 15 would be the last season.
If you happen to have Spectrum cable, the original TV show, Joe Pickett, is very good. I don't know if there is anywhere else you can see it.

Netflix sent an email the other day about Heartland and I'm thrilled. It's been a long wait since season 13 was available!

I saw that The Mentalist just started reruns on Lifetime TV (I get it through Spectrum Cable). Jane annoys them so much but is always right so they keep him around. Of course he grows on them. I loved that show. I've been watching Castle on Lifetime for a couple of months now. Rizzoli & Isles also airs on Lifetime so there is a lot of good stuff there.

I am streaming seasons of Outlander. I watched the 1st 2 seasons but never subscribed to Starz to watch the other seasons. I am into season 4. When we spent a month in Scotland on my husbands single malt tour I got season 1 as an audiobook. It was nice to hear the descriptions of Scotland as we drove through the countryside. Some people were looking for the magic ring of stones only to discover, hello, it was made up.

We just discovered 'Julia' on HBOMax. It's a series about how Julia Child got her TV show, The French Chef. It's absolutely delightful! I just recently watched a couple episodes of The French Chef on the Magnolia Network through Spectrum Cable. It was neat to watch 'Julia' and get some of the backstory. I hope it gets a season 2. I hate how all these streaming networks are creating original shows. No one wants to subscribe to a ton of streaming services because they each have 1 or 2 good shows. The 1st episode is available on youtube. Here's the trailer.

One of my favorite scenes is when Lisbon in frustration kicks the couch that Jane is forever lolling about on...the whole cast was great to watch, I just loved Cho's droll responses and sense of humor. I never watched when it was on TV but after I saw a couple Youtube fan videos with Jane and Lisbon, I streamed it about a year ago....I would love to watch it again, but it's not available on any of the streaming services I have right now.

I've been watching some Heartland reruns on UPtv. I just realized recently that I had it. The channel is stuck in the middle of the music channels on Spectrum cable. Anyway, they've been advertising season 15 which will start next Thursday, May 19 at 8 EDT.
