I really hated the Castle docu-style episode. It was my least favorite. This episode shows that sometimes it's better not to find out more about the actors that played in some of your favorite TV shows. They always say you should never meet your heroes. I'd still like to meet Nathan though.  It was nice to see what happened with Jackson's boyfriend. Chen and Bradford's interaction was cute and I particularly loved when he said "Those that can't do, teach". Chen immediately picked up on it and said, "You are literally my teacher!" I just don't understand why everyone wants these 2 to get together. I certainly didn't see the ending coming - especially the gouging out of the eyes! I have to admit, when I saw Sheila Moore, I really thought it was Karpowski from Castle. |

Not my favorite either.That craxy epidode of Castle was only liked by Marta, the editor.
I saw a comment on twitter that they had lots of people testing positive and this was their solution to filming with these issues. Who knows if that is true.
Jackson's boyfriend ,the actor, is from Australia so the accent was his real one. Now we know why he's gone.
My ipad has been crashing. I have been getting tech support on line and today they said i needed to take it in to the Apple Store. After reviewing the logs they are giving me a new one but it won't be here for a few days. I had a review all written and it crashed and i lost it. This was my 3nd try.i did this on my phone.

The episode was just OK, but I would call it a throwaway. It's always a little disarming when actors talk directly into the camera. The last few episodes have had stuff reminding me of Castle: Nolan sending a Morse Code signal through the hole in the van a couple weeks ago just like Castle used Martha's bracelet in 'Cops and Robbers'; someone last night said the line "Hell Hath No Fury"; and Nolan being set up a la Tyson by the dirty cop and having to prove his innocence earlier in the season. I expect more Castle-like references throughout the rest of the season.

It was a stand-alone episode that used a lot of previous footage and had people segregated to a large extent. I kind of wondered if they showed an episode or 2 out of order because their episode numbers were off a few weeks ago. This one could have been shown at any time. I just can't believe we have to wait a month for the next episode! |

In the comment section of my review, there are people arguing over this episode. Apparently you either loved it or hated it. One person is mocking me for liking it. Although I don't appreciate it when people make things personal like that, it is kind of amusing to see them get so riled up.
Of course, we all saw some of the crazy fan base for Castle, so I'm hoping that The Rookie having overly-zealous fans is a good sign for the show.
