Hi Everyone....
This nostalgic old home popped into my head last night as I was falling asleep listening to some music.... So, I thought I would re-activate and say "Hello"... I do miss you all, think of you from time to time, and remember the fun, oh, the fun, we had here in the hey-days of our beloved show.
I hope you are all healthy amidst this wicked virus. My dear hubby works in it daily down at the inner-city hospital, and has received his two vaccines. He was quite sick with the second dose, but all is well.
Our kids are grown; our eldest married 3.5 years ago, no grandchildren yet. They are enjoying life. Our youngest is finishing up college - this is his last semester. My mother-in-law has passed, my mom is showing her age physically, I am pretty well, albeit gained too much weight this past year. All in all, life is fine, and we are thankful. And probably the most fun to report is that me and darling hubs have been to Paris twice! I adore Paris!
I still haven't watched past mid-season 7 of Castle. Perhaps one day I will. Just can't do it yet... I have a bitter taste in my mouth, to say the least, about the proposed cuts that were made regarding Stana, Tamela, and the direction the show was headed. We fans deserved better, but I will quit at the risk of sounding selfish.
We are undergoing renovations of almost the entire first floor of our home - complete kitchen remodel, new dining room and living room floors, new trim work, paint, light fixutes, the works. It's been a long time coming. It is fun and exhausting all at the same time. Things are everywhere! LoL! And living without a stove and sink in the kitchen for over six weeks now... I never thought I'd say it, but I do believe I'm tired of eating take-out. lol...
I just wanted to pop in and say hello. I did look around a bit - it is wonderful to see that some things never change -- the old names and "ways of speaking" were a wonderful sight to behold and those of you whom I've met in person, well, I can "hear" you writing.
XOXOX ~Kriss
