I am constantly amazed that something I wrote years ago is still being found and marked as Favorite Story by new readers of Castle. This morning there were an extra 8 messages in my e-mail all from the same person who was marking my stories as Favorite and marked me as a Favorite Author. This person only started reading Castle in 2020 according to FF and already has 500 favorites. I guess being cooped up made for new readers of fanfiction.
At any rate, I truly appreciate that my little stories are still being read, and it is always a happy surprise when FF sends me a notification. My first story, Another Saturday Night, was published almost 10 years ago on Feb. 19, 2011. I remember sending it to Queen (QueenOfTheCastle1021 on FF) back on the old ABC Castle forum for her input on whether I should put it up on FF or not. Nathan fan and T were two of my very first reviews! My last real story was 2015 and yet I still get reviews or messages about them. It can truly be humbling to find that something you did was enjoyed or even helped someone, perhaps in another country or on the other side of the world.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and in good health and spirits, and Christine, I know you got more snow than I did. Two of my brothers live in NJ and boy did they have snow! Me, between the Allegheny's and Blue Ridge, managed 7 inches total between two snow storms, with the first almost melting away before the second...and yes, they've already yelled at me for bragging about that.

I've read all 32 [some more than once] and keep hoping that a FanFic 'email alert' will let me know something new...this time from you...has been posted. Thanks!

RG, I always enjoyed your writing! I'm thrilled that you've still got a new audience and I think one of the reasons people are still reading Castle fics is because it was such a wonderful love story to play with. There were strong characters and unlimited places you could go with them. For many years, those stories were the only reading I did!
Since the Castle era, I've not been doing much reading there until just recently. I'm totally hooked on another epic love story from the Hallmark series, When Calls The Heart, and have started reading a few stories from there. I love how the Fan Fiction site includes just about every show, movie and book you could think of and that the stories never go away. It's been an unending source of pleasure for me!

RG your stories were the best. I know I have read them all. Nice people are still finding them.
