I'm struggling with The Good Doctor. I like the other doctors but I can't believe Shaun isn't fired for all the things he does. Now he's going to have a kid. Between Shaun's tantrums and the baby's tantrums, Lea will be going insane. My husband still likes this show so I keep watching.

ABC just renewed Big Sky for season 2.
My husband watches it and this one surprised him because he has no idea where they plan to take it after season 1.

I agree with your husband. I don't think they planned past finding the girls, but more episodes were added. They tried to keep the story line going but it isn't very compelling.

As I'm sure nathanfan1 probably already knows, The Hallmark Channel has renewed When Calls the Heart for season 9! Also, ABC has renewed Grey's Anatomy for season 18 and Station 19 for season 5.

Yes, I saw the renewal announcement for When Calls The Heart on Sunday night BUT because they took the show in a totally different direction than I felt it should go in the finale, I'm not at all excited about a new season. I was so disappointed. I'll likely still check out the new season next year but it sure won't be with the passion I've had for the show up until now.

I hate it when shows do that. It's such a disappointment and just sucks the joy out of the series.

For anyone who watches the soap, Days of Our Lives, NBC just renewed it for two more seasons.

Will we find out if The Rookie is renewed before they air the season final this week?

Will we find out if The Rookie is renewed before they air the season final this week? I just read that ABC is likely to renew The Rookie for season 4. The article also said the 'True Crime' episode this season was the lowest rated of all. Not a surprise since it was thrown together after all the virus problems on set. Other than that, the show has done very well in the ratings.

Are Doug & Julie still alive ... Bo & Hope still a thing.... what about Marlena... is she still possessed? And how about Victor Kiriakis ...is he still up to his shenanigans...?.... and oh my, I"m sure there is a whole slew of new people that I wouldn't know. And then again, maybe some things never change. lol....

As soon as hubs & I are finished watching Criminal Minds (we never watched it when it aired), we were going to go back to When Calls the Heart. If you don't like the elephants Bobbie, I don't like the elephants. ................................................... *sigh....

Actor Bill Hayes who plays Doug is in his 90s and still doing great but he puts in less hours on set than Susan Seaforth Hayes as Julie. Peter Reckell, who played Bo, decided to leave the show for good several years ago so they killed Bo off. Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope left the show last year. John and Marlena are still going strong but Marlena is no longer a demon. And John Aniston who plays Victor is still around but since Covid we've seen a lot less of him, which is disappointing because he's always been one of my favorites. But he's 87 years old, so I suppose he's allowed to take some time off!

I remember when Dr. Horton and Alice were young. My goodness.... I really should tune in sometime, just for fun. I'm sure I'd get a kick out of seeing everyone. I remember my mom watching when I was little. Back when Peyton Place was still airing. And oh, Another World later followed Days. I loved me a good soap back in the day! Oh, and the Doctors. I remember being home sick from school and being able to watch the Price is Right and then the afternoon of soaps. Good times. Like sands through the hour glass........................................... sigh......................................................
