We just saw the talented Frances Fisher play John Nolan’s mom on The Rookie. Will we see her again? Also, will we see Ben again? Or his son? –Laura

I will choose what’s behind Door No. 2 and confirm that yes, we will see college pal Ben (played by Currie Graham) again later this season.

I would be perfectly happy if we never saw his mom again. Nothing against Frances Fisher but I hated that character. With a mother like her it makes you wonder how Nolan turned out so nice.

I'm glad to see the return of Ben. Nolan needs his longtime friend to return. I agree with ibmjas about Nolan's Mom.

I third the feeling about Nolan's mom. It's almost hard to believe that he turned out this well with a father who ran off and a mother like that.

But I'm thrilled that Ben is coming back because I'm a fan of the actor, Currie Graham, and Nolan needs more friends to talk to outside of work.

It's easy to understand why Nolan's father ran off from a woman like that, lol. Also, a new love interest for Nolan would be a good addition to the show.
