Just wondering if you have any intel on John Nolan’s love life in the upcoming season of The Rookie. Will Grace (played by Ali Larter) return? –Rachel

I ran your Q by showrunner Alexi Hawley, and the answer in a word was no. “Her storyline ended when she broke up with Nolan to go back to her husband,” the EP explained. “There was never a plan to have her back in Season 3.”

After the fans going crazy with Castle and Beckett's relationship I think Nathan wrote in his contract that he would never get a serious relationship again on this show. So, no surprise here. Also I think I read that she got a gig on another show.

I really enjoyed the relationship between Nolan and Grace so I am disappointed that she won't be back.
