It will be interesting to see the changes on the Rookie for Season 3. With all that happened with the Black Lives Matter movement this summer they are going to try and address some of the issues. It is just a TV show but people watch and will see how they present things. I thought it was interesting that TP Winter, who also wrote for Castle, said he needed to change how he writes.

Good for them! I applaud their openness to change that benefits society and I look forward to seeing how they approach things in the new season. However, I have to also admit that I'm glad they're committed to maintaining the element of humor in the show. For me, that's what makes it a cut above the usual crime show.
