Does John Terlesky do a lot of other shows for directing/writing etc?
I'm rewatching Timeless via Netflix Canada and his name has just popped up in the credits for episode 9 "Last Ride of Bonnie and Clyde"

He’s also listed as the director for the pilot episode of the new NBC series The Brave which airs next week.

Catching up on the Season 2 premiere of Designated Survivor. Arye Gross (Perlmutter) appeared as a writer who came to the White House to meet the president, and kept getting shuffled around because Kirkman was busy putting out fires. He seemed familiar to me in each scene, but what really got me was the last scene he was in (which was also the longest one) and I had to do some searching to see who the actor was playing the character. He had a full beard and glasses so I didn't recognize the face so much as the voice and mannerisms. As soon as I saw the credits and his name, I knew it was Perlmutter.

Ayre must have been very happy to be able to keep his beard. When he came to the last Castle convention he had the beard. He was shooting a scene for Castle the next day and he looked to Andrew hoping to get permission to keep it. Andrew said no.

The actress who played Hayley, Toks O, had a small part on a new show, The Gifted, last night.

It was an interesting show, if you like the Marvel Universe. Toks had 1 line...maybe there was more but it ended up being deleted.

I got around to watching The Gifted today. I thought it was worth a try. It looks like it might be good. Toks hair made her hard to recognize. I don't see her character returning as the Dad is now in jail himself so he won't be going to his office any longer. Did anyone else think the Dad has powers that he doesn't realize that he has? When he was talking with the principal I got the feeling that his stare was more intense than a usual stare?

Tycho, you may be right about the Dad. The actor was on True Blood and he kinda had the same look! And, I agree that Toks may not come back...although I'm not sure who her character was.....a Warden?

We started watching Seal Team and spotted Michaela McManus. She plays the wife of the lead seal guy from Bones David B. She was in episode 2x9 “ Love me Dead” as Scarlett Price the hooker who killed the DA and took over his prostitution ring.

I watched a delightful Hallmark movie today called Falling For Vermont and the lead actress was the gal who played Kate's old high school friend, Madison. The episode was Food To Die For and Maddie accused Kate of wanting to make "little Castle babies!" The actress's name is Julie Gonzalo. She was GREAT in this movie!

I just realized that Chadwick Boseman, who plays Black Panther in the hit move of the same name, also guest starred on Castle.
He played the street magician, Chuck Russell, on "Poof, You're Dead" which was the scene where Beckett uttered the line, "Alakazam, jackass."
Also, if you haven't seen the film, it's very good.
