Although he is best known for the lead role in Black Panther, as well as some other great movies, Chadwick had a memorable guest spot on Castle. He was only 43 years old. Other than those close to him, no one seemed to know that he had been battling colon cancer the last four years. I just watched that episode last week. I didn’t realize that was him. He was in so many diverse iconic roles. He will live on when people view those works of artistry. I saw this clip from an interview from Black Panther. We didn’t know at the time that this man was also battling cancer.
His last project was written by Ruben Santiago- Hudson, Captain Montgomery.

I was so shocked when I heard of his death and like everyone else I had no idea he'd been fighting cancer. I didn't realize that was him in Castle. So sad for his family and all his fans.
I first became aware of Chadwick when he played Jackie Robinson. I thought then he was going to be a big star. I'd love to see him play James Brown. I heard he was great in it. I looked at IMDB and saw that he had guest appearances in Justified and The Glades. I'm watching both right now so I'll have to look for him.
He played:
Jackie Robinson Thurgood Marshall James Brown Yasuke (not out yet)
