Did anyone besides Rikki and I watch this show on ABC?? What did you think of it?? It started slowly for us but by the finale last evening, we were really enjoying it and hope they give it a 2nd season.  |

We've been watching it as well. I think we still have 4 episodes on the DVR but we've been enjoying it. It's hard for a show that comes along so late to pick up a following because most people don't even notice it. I hope it gets another season.

I know nathanfan1 has been watching and enjoying it. It's on my list of shows I want to watch but haven't had the time yet. We finished Magnum P.I. and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and enjoyed them both. Now we've started on season 1 of FBI, and I like it, but something lighter would be fun too. |

I watched Baker and the Beauty from the start. All I had to hear was "romantic comedy" and I was all in! It has been totally delightful IMO! I very quickly came to care about all of the characters. The Cuban / American family at the core of the show is so real and believable. They're honest and emotional and you can't help but root for them. The show has also tackled some current issues and really done justice to everyone's storyline, even in a short period of time. I watched the 2 hour finale on Monday and it was a very nice way to leave it. I REALLY hope ABC renews it!

We would love to see where they go with the storyline given a full season to work with. As an aside though, I wanted to holler at Vanessa for what she did to Mateo in the final. It was painful to watch. |

It was still on my saved shows..yeah..so I watched the first 3 episodes last night. I am really enjoying it. Thanks for the recommendations.

I watched this show on Hulu and finished it yesterday. Like some of you, a second season would've been nice. They left us hanging on the story lines, and there seemed to be enough material for a season 2. I know viewership is important (it's all about the coveted age group), but sometimes I question ABC's judgment regarding new shows and giving them a few seasons to build an audience. Whiskey Cavalier, Forever, and Take Two come to mind. All the networks do it, not just ABC.
