CBS Picks Up The Equalizer

Andrew Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller's new project, the reboot of The Equalizer (with Queen Latifah and Chris Noth) has been given a series order by CBS, despite not having been able to film a pilot episode.

With Covid-19 we have no idea when it will actually start production but it's still good news for fans of Andrew and Terri's work!

I'm happy to hear this. I'd like to see what Andrew and Terri do with something that isn't based on a will they / won't they. I also enjoy Queen Latiffa.

It appears that CBS will be giving The Equalizer the Sunday night time slot recently vacated by God Friended Me. CBS is still promoting a FALL schedule (The CW has has said most of its scripted shows won't return until 2021), so hopefully they have a plan to go back into production safely. Fingers crossed!
