Rookie show runner interview

Alexi Hawley, the show runner of The Rookie, does an interview on season 2. He has season 3 mapped out. Hopefully we will get a season 3. Their Sunday time slot is a killer. Hopefully they realize that nothing would get night ratings. The DVR numbers are having more weight I hope since few people watch anything live anymore.

They are having pretty great ratings. Idol seems to be a good lead-in and besides no new programs are getting filmed for the fall while we're all on lock down. I don't think there is any chance they would get canceled. I think they are really hitting their stride this year. I thought I would really miss Afton but Mekia has been a great addition. They are developing all the characters and I like all the characters. Two thumbs up from me so far.

I agree I think they will stick with shows that are already on and doing at least OK. They will not being starting up new shows for awhile now. I do miss Afton but Mekia has been a great addition and given them a new story line to develop. It also gave 2 other actors a job. I do like the new house but I miss the peace of his buddy's place and his buddy.
