I guess I was fine with the Idol opening. It was a fun crossover and really didn't affect the episode. What stood out to me was Harper and Nolan. They have truly become partners, offering both professional and personal support to each other. I'm really liking that. I was so glad the proposal played out the way it did. It was definitely perfect! All that being said though, the most AWESOME moment of the whole episode was the very end! I said out loud, "THAT will be the gif to end all gifs!" Nathan closing the door and looking back with that 'come hither' look! Oh baby, let's be naughty!

I enjoyed the episode. I have been watching American Idol the last couple of years. It was nice that "lucy" could show off her talents. I have no doubt that was all her singing. What is with Nolan getting beaten up all the time? And yes, there is no way that little guy could have gotten a big guy like Nolan up on that pipe. And why didn't Nolan just kick this guy as his legs were not bound? I wonder if we will see the reported back again. I know he would love to work with his wife again. I see Nola getting back together with her family. I think he really doesn't want to get have the family apart. It will take awhile but I hope things work out for them.
As for Nolan, they do have a history, but it worries me that she hasn't filed for the divorce. I can see this causing NOlan problems as a Rookie if they continue the way they are right now. You know her son will love Nolan.

A very good episode. Harper is slow to trust but when you earn her trust, she will be your partner forever. I'm happy to see that with Nolan. I loved Lucy's comment in the hotel. That was beyond awesome.
