Happy Anniversary, Geezer!
We had no project masks around the house and couldn't find any in the stores. So, I got out a bandana. Can you imagine anyone having a Straight Arrow neckerchief and knowing where it is? Some other 'old guy' in the grocery store recognized it right away. [Old people really do stand around talking about stuff like that.] By the way, just as I was leaving home, Dawn reminded me to wear it every where I went and asked me to stop by the bank. I think she was just joking...hopefully. Stay safe and prayer for each other.

Congrats, Geezer! Sounds like you and your wife had a great celebration dinner. I heard about the ridiculous voting fiasco there. I imagine people will actually die because of it. It's horrible that there is such little regard for people's lives.
The golf course that I golfed at yesterday has been shut down today due to the new lock down restrictions. All the city courses have already been closed for a month. I only know of one public course still open and they aren't sure if they can remain open. Other than the golf course, we haven't had any clarifications about what the tighter restrictions entail. The mayor made the comment that this wasn't the year to be worried about our yards or gardens and that we shouldn't be out buying that kind of stuff. We have nothing else to do but work on yards and gardens. Cut us a little slack!
I made a face mask today. I now remember just how much I hate to sew. I'll probably make a few more for family. Then I may give the rest of my material to a friend who has been making masks for the hospital and chemo place. I'm sure she can whip them out in no time.

I just had a 'most fun' experience in grocery store I've had for a long time. We were almost out of milk, fruit, vegetables, and salad components. We decided to eat properly during the pandemic at least...man, I really could use a PopTart. Anyway, I was there early [0630] and noticed there where only three of us customers in store. The other guy is from church. He was kidding me about my bandana and asked if I was the 'Frito Bandito' [Remember his ads in late 1960s and early 1970s?]. Later, I overheard a child with an older lady ask her, "Granny, who is the Frito Bandito? Is that man the one bought all the stuff we wanted?" As Art Linkletter used to say, "Kids will say the darndest things."

Larryholmes, I sure wish I had a pic of you in your bandana! I made all of our family's masks out of fun fabrics that seemed to fit the personality of the owner so we ended up with a few camo ones for the hunters, a unicorn for the granddaughter and some colorful and wild prints for the ladies. The men chose to keep it a little more subtle! Loved the Frito Bandito story!

Just when I thought this couldn't be a more unusual Easter, we're getting dumped with 6 or more inches of snow and 30 - 40 MPH winds all day today. WooHoo! Are we having fun yet? ?
