I envy you all of it! Kate would love to be there to see the calves. When I was 3-years-old I saw a calf being born and it obviously made an impression because the memory is still pretty clear.

Unfortunately, we have 3 cases in my small town, 190 in the county with at least 4 fatalities. Last night a friend of a friend died. He was only 45 and his wife and two kids are still in the hospital. That's the town next to mine. I had to go to the grocery store today and about 1/3 of the people were wearing face masks, including me. My sister is a biologist and she really pushed for me to wear it when I go to the store. I think the biggest upside is that it keeps me from touching my face which I've noticed I do often.

Everyone stay safe! I'm really hoping we'll be through the worst of this by May/June.

This really seems like a (bad) movie . Around 4250 cases in my (little) country and 1110 in the county where I live. We have 76 deaths (among them a woman in her forties) and 43 recovered. Definitely a virus to take seriously. I hope we can defeat it soon.

Thanks for the chuckle!  Good luck on that one. 

I also use the Cornell Merlin Bird ID app on my iPhone ....love it!  Sometimes I can't see the bird but try to think of some possibilities and listen to the calls and once in a while I find a match.  I know there are some apps where you can hold up your phone as the "listening device" and the app will try to match to a bird, but I've never tried it.
