It's March and today felt very spring like here. I can only hope it lasts but being March, anything is possible.
Last week was so busy between my work and my daughter's school that it felt like I couldn't catch my breath. (Although volunteering at the school book fair is something I always enjoy. I have so much fun helping the kids pick out books.)
On the downside, two my my daughter's friends have the flu and a couple more have strep throat. I'm always reminding my daughter to wash her hands but now even more so.
Thankfully, this week looks a bit calmer and I'm hoping it stays that way so I can get caught up on some things.
How is your week going?

I volunteered with Kids Need to Read collecting new kids books at the Renaissance Festival here. If they brought in 2 kids books then they could get a ticket for a child to go to the fest. We collected many books. I had never been to this fest. They have had this going for many years here every Feb and Mar. I was amazed how big and expansive the festival has grown. I head out for my first of two weeks camping this month. My kiddies are ready to get on the road again.

I had lots of fun this morning with my daughter's 4th grade class. It's Read Across America week and I was able to read Dr. Seuss' The Lorax to the class. It's a really fun class with fantastic teachers and I enjoy getting to volunteer there. Plus, I'm thankful that my daughter continues to ask me to keep coming back!
