Hi All,
My husband and I aren't football fans so we just watch the game for the commercials, which we love.
There aren't even a lot of Superbowl parties around this year, probably because the two teams aren't a big draw on the east coast.
Of course, we are watching the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet and the Kitten Bowl on the Hallmark Channel this afternoon.
So what are all of you up to today?

I'm a football fan and would like to see KC win for their coach. He's been around a long time but has never won a Super Bowl. We also enjoy the commercials

I loved the game! I wanted KC to win. It wasn't looking too good for a while but they came back in fantastic fashion. My husband likes to bet and this year he bet on the coin toss (tails-win), color of gatorade (orange-lost), Over/under - lost, Mahomes makes a touchdown-win, oh yeah and that the Chiefs would win! It was fun watching for some of these things. Commercials were great too. I liked Jimmy Fallon's, Ellen's, Bill Murray's, M C Hammer's and I can't get over Jason Mamoa's! The Google Alexa commercial with the old man's memories was touching.
I ate so much I am going to explode!
And now The Masked Singer is starting! My son and I love to watch this. He knows the newer talent and I know the older ones so it is fun trying to figure them out.

I'm not a football fan but it was a good, close game. I was rooting for KC simply because they seemed to be the underdog and then SF annoyed me with the way the whole team seemed to pose for a selfie every time they got a TD.
I don't have the money to bet but my Dad says he would have won about $600 on his points spread if KC hadn't scored their final field goal. He was still up about $100 over all so it was fine.
I enjoyed most of the ads as they were quirky and upbeat. Some of my favorites were:
-The Snickers Hole -New York Life - Be Good at Life (Different Greek words for Love) -Cheetos - Can’t Touch This -Hyundai - Bettah Drives U -Olay - Make Space for Women -Jeep Gladiator with the groundhog.
I also enjoyed the half time show as I've always liked Shakira. Although my 10-year-old was quick to point out that the male singers wore sweatsuits while the women wore barely any clothing at all and led to a discussion about why that is. I'm still not sure we came up with satisfactory answers.

Did you take note of the kids in cages before Jaylo's daughter came out to sing. Small nod to all of the migrant children being held in detention at the boarder.
