In honor of Martin Luther King Jr day, my favorite quote...
As for the weekend, we only got an inch or two of snow. The "storm" ended practically before it began which is fine by me.
How's your week starting out?

It was 19* when I got up this morning. There are a few snow flakes floating around in the air but nothing is sticking. The last couple of years we've had practically no snow. Back in 2004 we got over 22 inches of snow in 24 hours ending on Dec 23. My sister's-in-law family was stuck in an airport trying to get here for Christmas. They finally had to fly back home. Really screwed up Christmas that year.

Crazy me I'm heading to the east coast tomorrow to visit family. I have a great niece and nephew getting their scout awards. I am packing everything I have that is warm.

Have a safe trip, Tycho! I'm sure it'll be wonderful to spend time with the family.

Our lives are starting to get more normal this week Monday to Friday are quiet for us and Saturday we are going down to Milwaukee for a party with friends. We will stay over and Sunday morning we will take one of our daughters and a granddaughter out for breakfast. Rikki had knitting group yesterday and I went to see 1917. It was very good IMO. We still have not seen Star Wars but hope to see it next week.

I saw ''1917'' yesterday with grandson and his best friend. It really was a well-done movie. I heard that it received wide praise during some movie industry event recently.

The snow and cold temps that you folks in the Midwest experienced last week arrived in north-central Mass. starting with single digits on Friday and through the weekend, and didn't start to moderate until today....we are at a whopping 30 degrees today.....yippee. Luckily the snow Saturday into Sunday was light and fluffy, about 5".
