So you know it's been a busy week when you don't get your weekly thread up and going until Wednesday!
Maybe it's that Thanksgiving was so late this year or maybe it's that I had a horrible cold all of last week and I'm still recovering, but Christmas seems to be coming up much too fast.
On the upside, I've got the majority of my shopping done. Just a few more small things here and there and I'll be done. Now I really need to clean up the living room so we can get a tree. I'm a little upset that I don't have Christmas cards made up yet. I usually have them printed and being sent by now but I haven't been able to get a decent photo of my daughter for the card. She was at a special 4-H event last week and I thought those photos would work but the lighting was horrible. Then I figured I'd just have her put on her holiday dress and take pictures in front of our decorations outside, but it has rained every day since the weekend! Hopefully, I'll get it done soon.
So how has your week and your holiday planning going?

I’ve been camping with 2 of my camping groups. I started out last Saturday with one group. We always do a Christmas theme and small gift exchange. It’s a nice way to get the season started. We had a major rain and hail storm one afternoon. I did get a nice rainbow that looked like it ended at me rig😎 I’m hoping that is a good sign. Yesterday I drove from that rally to the next about an hour away. Got everything set up and Christmas lights and decorations put up again. I bought 4 small solar lights that are very cute. I will do another gift exchange with this group tomorrow night. Saturday I will drive up the the National Military cemetery here for “Wreaths Across America”. Walmart sponsors this all across the country. They provide evergreen wreaths for most of the graves of service members who are buried at the cemetery. Check and see where the nearest one is to you and they probably do this there also? I will drive up for the morning so I can make sure my husband gets one on his grave. 💕

We had a last minute get together and I was asked to bring cookies/treats. Unfortunately, I haven't even begun my Christmas cookies yet, but I found a very easy solution which only took minutes.
-Ritz crackers -Rolos
Lay out Ritz crackers face down on a baking sheet. Put a Rolo (unwrapped!) in the center of each cracker. Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for just few minutes. When the Rolo softens, take out of the oven and quickly put a second Ritz cracker on top and gently press down.
Once they cool off a bit, they are the perfect combination of caramel, chocolate, and salty goodness! They took me all of ten minutes to make and everyone loved them.
The only downside was that I touched the edge of the oven door and burnt my hand. I wish I could say that was an unusual occurrence but it's not. I'm a klutz in the kitchen and burn myself more often than I should admit.
I hope you're all having a wonderfully, burn-free week.
