Amen to that. It actually makes me a little sad to remember how the show deteriorated after the first 6 seasons. It was so, so, so good in those early years!!

Absolutely, Castle could have gone on for many years, look at Blue Bloods a procedural cop show in NY

I have re-watched the 3XK episodes often. Same thing with the Bracken episodes. In my opinion, so well done before TPTB destroyed things.
