I thought it was an excellent episode. I particularly liked Nolan teaming up with Armstrong. I could definitely see him and Grace getting together if she isn't really married. I'm ready for Jessica to move on. I'm surprised I feel that way but I'm just not feeling it between them.

I enjoyed the episode also. I agree that Nolan and Armstrong make a good team and would be fine with them continuing to work together but I'm not sure how that fits in with the usual protocol in a rookie's training. Can you immediately train to be a detective? The reveal of Nolan's backstory with the doctor was so well done. It was quite evident that their connection had been a powerful one and I have to believe it might just ignite again if the circumstances are right. I thought Nolan's apology to her was in perfect keeping with the man and his values. I just love Lucy! How sweet of her to record the book AND to offer to share her apartment, despite the fact that she was looking forward to living alone. I was really going to hate on Bradford if he didn't show her some appreciation for her efforts but he saved himself at the last minute. It was a nice job of opening some new doors for the second season.

It was a decent episode. As soon as Grace appeared, you could "hear" the door slam on Jessica. Too bad IMO. Enjoyed Lucy and Bradford. Thought Nick was a very good addition. Enjoyed the stories. Don't know what they will do with Jackson as he is just a hot mess right now. The brothers with the vests were a hoot but w a y beyond stupid, LOL. I'm just not really into this show at this point so far. Too predictable, maybe?? It's currently #5 or lower on my list of good shows this year. JMO

The episode was ok. I noticed the rating are dropping already. This has always been the slot for shows to die. The episodes are OK but I agree Geezer I am beginning to lose interest. I hope it ticks up. Jessica really doesn't like Nolan's new place and can't wait to leave. I see that ending soon. I think Nolan would love a 2nd chance with Grace. We need to find out her story first as you know Nolan would not act if there is already a husband in the picture.

It's funny how we all see this differently because I saw this as one of the best episodes so far. I did't expect to like the storyline with Grace but I do. She and Nolan had immediate chemistry and I'm curious to find out the rest of her story. Although she said she had an 8-year-old and Nolan assumed she was married because she wore a ring, Grace never confirmed that.
I really like Bradford and I enjoy his interactions with Lucy and how quick he was to stick up for Lopez. And West is a real wildcard right now as he tries to figure out how to move forward with his career and his life.
Second episodes of the season usually sees a bit of a drop in ratings, and football dominates Sunday nights, so I'm not sure what ABC is hoping for ratings wise but we'll just have to wait and see.
