Complications on USA network

Just curious if anyone else caught the premiere of the new show Complications on the USA network Thursday night. It's one of the new shows I'm covering for TVFanatic and I really enjoyed it. It's about a doctor who saves a young boy during a gang related drive-by shooting and inadvertently becomes responsible for his safety. Needless to say, there are complications.

I was drawn to it for two reasons. First, it was created by Matt Nix who also created Burn Notice which I enjoyed. Second, the lead actor is Jason O'Mara whom I've enjoyed on several previous shows: Life on Mars, Terra Nova, Vegas and a brief stint on The Good Wife.

If you missed it and still want to check it out, I know it's being replayed on USA, Oxygen, Bravo, and WE networks and here is my review of the first two hours...

I like that actor and keep hoping one of his shows gets more than one season. I will have to catch up.

I as able to watch the first 2 episodes yesterday. This looks interesting. I kept looking at the wife wondering where I had seen her then I remembered she was on the show filmed in Portland with Timothy Hutton in the lead of a team that helped people. She was a strange character on that show. I don't know if I can buy her as the wife. I like the people at the hospital. I love Jason's character. He is a good actor who sells every role he has been in.

The actress who plays his wife is Beth Riesgraf. She played Parker on Leverage with Timothy Hutton.
