Looks like this is the follow up to Dr Horrible’s sing a long blog. They just did it all with audio. They didn’t do any video.

It was sure fun to read this and listen to a few of the songs again! I have the DVD that includes the Commentary musical and I agree with this blogger that it's a work of genius. The music is what drew me to Dr. Horrible and the Commentary gave me a double dose of all the fun. It was an amazing production all around!
