I love looking at behind the scenes production of shows. Here is an interesting interview with Chi-Yoon Chung who did the editing of the pilot episode. (She didn’t edit any episodes of Castle.) she talked about using the body camera footage. Those lenses have a very wide range of focus.
I have noticed that Alexi is using lots of women directors for this show. He even put out a tweet asking people to suggest more women directors as he had run out of people.
