Yes there was doubt for quite a while. I don't recall ever waiting this long before.So glad to get a full season 8.So much of the story remaining to be told. Huge sigh of relief!  |

When there was still some question as to whether Stana would be returning, I may have had my doubts, but with everyone but Penny (  ) returning, I think it was a foregone conclusion that there would be a full order. ABC has been quite adamant that they want to keep Castle going. Once it was confirmed that Stana was on board, I had no doubt in my mind. |

Which means of course, we get 23. So off we go into the unknown. Hard to believe season 8!!!! Seems like only yesterday Kate was smelling like cherries and Rick was kissing Kate for the first time. And still, I hate Josh, Hunt, Vaughn and Ellie.

I think you are so right that ABC is totally committed to this show. I think the fact that Marlowe was shown the door says it all. They want to get to season 10 and 200 episodes. Castle is a cash cow for them. |
