I think everyone was shocked with tonight's death.This show has gone for things that truly impact police officers. They did a great job when Nolan killed his suspect and now dealing with this loss.
I wonder when we will see the replacement for this loss?

It was shocking, but I love how the rookies always stick together. Apparently John and Jessica have been dating (Rulan). Lucy commented on how happy John's been lately and seemed genuinely happy that he and Jessica are hitting it off. I'd also like to see Lopez get back together with her lawyer guy. Even though he shut her down when she tried to explain her actions, he later called to offer support so I think they have a chance.
I strongly advise you stay away from spoilers until you see this episode.

I had to go back and check her name as they didnt call her by her first name very much in her one episode. |

Yeah, I forgot to mention the comment about Jessica because by the end of the episode my entire focus was elsewhere. I liked that Nolan's friends, including Lucy, knew he and Jessica had started dating. Lucy seemed sincerely happy for him. It was refreshing seeing everyone act like adults and real friends. I believe Jessica will be back in next week's episode.

The "death" was my favorite character on the show so saw absolutely no point to it. As far as we were concerned, it diminished the show a lot and we saw no reason to do it. The show is struggling enough on its own.

I was completely shocked by this. Never saw it coming. I couldn't believe they would do something like this so early in the show's run. I think I stared at the TV for ten minutes after the show ended, just trying to process it.
