I was watching an episode of FBI tonight and noticed it was written by David Amann. He wrote 15 episodes of Castle. This episode introduced a plot line about the lead FBI lady’s husband being killed by a hit man. He killed the guy in their current case. I think they realized that he was familiar with writing long drawn out conspiracy plots. 
She of course killed him before he could tell her who hired him to kill her husband. Sound familiar?
