CBS has just renewed the new Magnum P.I., FBI, and the sitcom The Neighborhood for season 2.

I really like FBI. Magnum I didn't enjoy at first but I saved them on my DVR and they got better.

We've been enjoying Magnum and The Neighborhood quite a bit. I'm thrilled they are renewed. We watched the 1st episode of the FBI but hated it so haven't seen any more.

The CW just renewed The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale, Supernatural, Supergirl, Black Lightning, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Charmed, Legacies, and Dynasty for new seasons.

I didn't think it was a long shot until I started reading about it not doing well and then it not getting renewed when several other freshman shows did. In my opinion it's a solid performer and is popular in many other countries, but I thought Forever was a solid performer and they didn't give it a chance at a second season. One positive aspect is that I read recently that the networks were producing fewer pilots this year and instead planned to renew more shows. Keep your fingers crossed.

It is frustrating to watch any new show on network TV these days. Usually the shows I like get canceled. I remember when NCUS first started I liked it but the ratings were so low that CBS was going to cancel it. Someone saw something and they dumped the showrunner and let Mark Harmon take control. They gave it a chance and it took off and had off shoots that also worked.
Nathan has had many one design or half season shows that got pulled. I still say they blew it giving New Amsterdam a head start. I hope they give it a chance to grow an audience before pulling the plug.
