Investigating the killing of a Japanese ballerina, Castle and Beckett find a shrine with the murder weapon in an old factory.
Then, when the two are separated, Castle is ambushed by a hooded attacker bearing all the hallmarks of a ninja.
I was in LA when this episode was filmed. We found out where they would be filming and found the signs around the street that said wheat was being filmed. It had listed that you might see "Ninjas". We were curious about this. I guess they try and let people know what to exspect if there will be people dressed different so they don't panic and call in the police? We watched them film the scene with Perlmutter. The Arye(the guy who plays Perlmutter) was pacing back and forth going over his lines before the scene. It was funny as you could see when he was addressing Castle his demeanor changed. We came back that night to watch them film the scene when the guys went into the Gisha bar and then came out to have the Ninja encounter. We got to talk with Seamus briefly during the dinner break. I had just gotten my new Note 4 phone and when I asked Seamus to take a selfie with it he kind of freaked out at the size of the phone. This was the first large phone. I had to laugh. I told him Nathan needed this phone as I saw him trying to check his hair with his small Apple phone. We asked him about the Ninjas and he laughed and said he couldn't say anything about that and kind of laughed. We saw the ninjas later that night after their dinner break.
The next day we went to a nice neighborhood near the studio where they were filming the scenes in the house of the murderer. Terri pointed at Chris Bruno, the guy who is the killer, and said "killer."...and laughed and walked on. We didn't know at the time but he indeed was the killer. We were hoping to get Stana to walk over for a closer meet and greet today. She was ready to do that when a professional autograph seeker showed up with his big folder of things to be signed and a young girl who kept shouting out to Stana. That did it. Her body guards wouldn't let her come over. Too bad as we had a nice little group of about 4 or 5 who were there all day being very quiet.

It took a few tries to get this screen shot for the puzzle. I love that Castle had this on his desk after this episode. I wonder if Nathan took it home?
