This is good news. It is so hard to get a new show going now with so many choices out there with cable, net flicks, amazon prime, Hulu and what ever else is out there.

WOOHOO!!!!! So glad to hear it! I've only seen 2 shows so far but have really enjoyed it and like the way the characters are developing. I hope they consider moving the show's time slot after the holiday break so it's not up against New Amsterdam. Let's see ...... Nathan in my life again every week ......  .  .  .  |

For whatever reason that Tuesday spot has always been a tough spot for ABC programs. Even our diehard Nathanfan1 can't be persuaded to watch in real time so you know it's tough! I'm happy they got a full season order. Now all we have to worry about is season 2!

Trust me, IBM, it's been a REALLY tough decision! If my husband wasn't also wanting to watch New Amsterdam, I'd be likely to be watching The Rookie live and delaying New Amsterdam. My fingers are crossed for a new time slot!

I just caught up on the episodes and I'm liking it way more than I thought I would. It's a real ensemble cast which probably helps Nathan have a little more time off than he had on Castle. Best of all, I'm rooting for almost all of these characters which doesn't normally happen for me on most shows. I'm happy ABC decided to give it time to build an audience because they could have a hit on their hands.

Hi everyone
I am enjoying the reviews of the episodes seen so far. No idea if the UK is going to be picking this up.
Do you think that ABC giving this series a full season is a good sign long term seeing as how they have cancelled Take Two and just lost Channing Dungey?
I have to say that despite the reviews I haven't read anything that has made me want to watch the series. That said however, should it show up on this side of the pond, I would probably watch the first episode just to see for myself.
