ABC is still giving this show lots of love. Here is a promo for the episode that was posted on Twitter.

It looks good! I sure wish I could watch both the Rookie and New Amsterdam live. I'm still waiting for ABC to release episode 2 of The Rookie from last week. Hopefully it'll be today or tomorrow.

Here's my review of this episode... www.tvfanatic.com/2018/10/the-rookie-season-1-episode-3-review-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ug/I loved so much about this episode, from the twist about Bradford's wife, to Bishop showing a bit of her soft side, and all of those beautiful scenes on the southern California beach. They really use the LA location to their advantage. And do you think the odds are correct and either John Nolan, Lucy Chen or Jackson West will wash out before the end of the season?

I think Jackson will be gone soon if he doesn’t get over his fear of live rounds flying close. It will be interesting to see how the Rookies fair when they switch TO’s. It is nice to have the show based in LA so they can show off the area instead of pretending it is someplace else. It looks like the show was in last place again this week. They are getting lots of love from the reviewers and the network. I think they will be changing time slots after the first of the year to give them a better lead in. Again I think they made a big mistake now starting the show sooner.

I agree about loving the LA location. It's nice to see them sitting on a beach with palm trees in the background. So different from where I am. I loved how Jackson was always saying 'Let's go for a run' and takes off. John says 'Right behind you' and just pulls Lucy closer. I like how the rookies have bonded and have each other's back. They kept talking about how 1 in 3 rookies doesn't make it and therefore they need a plan B. Will all our rookies make it? They are all determined to make it, but Jackson feels like he doesn't need a Plan B because this is what he's always wanted to do. However he's the weakest link so far. We're slowly learning more about the TOs. Bradford's concern for his drug-addicted wife is tearing him apart and affecting his job. Bishop had a very hard time when they had to arrest a young boy's father and the child cried and called for his dad while Bishop restrained him and tried to comfort him. She even made a rookie mistake on her next call. I'm thinking it's because she was still upset about taking the boy's father away from him. Perhaps the same thing had happened to Bishop when she was a child for her to be so affected by it. That's just pure speculation on my part. twitter.com/twitter/statuses/1056914070991818752
Aren't they cute?
