That was fun. I wonder if this was very recent? I would think he was in NYC to do Good Morning America for a big promo for the show. If so they must have taped the segment?

It's refreshing to hear him address different questions from what we've heard over and over again. I get the impression that, although he's the lead in the new show, it's got enough other story lines going on that allow him a little more freedom than Castle did. I'm also glad that the romance isn't a huge part of the show - at least to start with. I'm looking forward to seeing him in a different type of role.

As I've already seen the pilot episode, I can confirm that although Nathan obviously plays the lead role, this is quite an ensemble cast which should allow him more time off. There are multiple stories happening and I'd expect the other characters' roles and storylines to grow over time. I also agree with his assessment of the romance; it's a relatively small percentage of what's happening on screen.
I'm very excited to see what all of you think about this show once you finally get to see it.
